Day 01 Arrival in Tashkent
PM arrive in Tashkent. Meet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Tashkent – Margilan by (train)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to railway station for train #060 to Margilan (08.05-12.59). PM excursion of Margilan including “Yodgorlik Silk Factory”, Adras workshop, Said Akhmad-Khoja medresah, complex Mir Siddiq. Overnight in Margilan.

Day 03 Margilan – Rishtan – Kokand – Tashkent (350 km) – Samarkand (by train)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Rishtan (50 km). Visit to local kyrgyz family where woolweaving crafts are made and ceramist house (Master Mr. Said) for watching and participating in making ceramical products. Drive to Kokand for visiting Khudayar Khan’s Palace, “Dahmai Shahon” (Royal Cemetry). Drive to Tashkent via “Kamchik Pass” (250 km). Upon arrival, transfer to railway station for an evening express train to Samarkand (18.50-20.58). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 04 Tashkent – Samarkand (300 km, by road)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Hastim Imam Complex (Barakhan Medresha, Tillya Sheikh Mosque and Muyi Muborak Library with famous Holy Osman Koran), Earthquake monument, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, Metro-some Subway stations which are famous for their unique architectural designs and cleanness. PM drive to Samarkand. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for an overnight.

Day 05 Samarkand
Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion program in Samarkand: visit Afrosiyob Museum & hill, Observatory of Ulugbek, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi-Khanum Mosque – the largest mosque in Central Asia, oriental bazaar Siyab, Konigil Silk-paper making center, Registan Sqaure (Sherdor Madrassah, Tilla Kari Madrassah and Ulughbek Madrassah) & Guri-Emir mausoleum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 Samarkand – Nurata (Yangikazgan) (250 km)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Nurata (200 km). Visit to Chashma Ayub, Namozgokh mosque (belongs to X c.), the ruins of Nur Fortress (founded by Alexander the Great in IV BC.). Drive to Yangikazgan (50 km.). En route, visit Kazakh village “Dungalak”. Dinner and overnight in Yurts.

Day 07 Yangikazgan – Aydarkul – Gijduvan – Bukhara (260 km)
Breakfast in Yurts. After camel riding, drive to Aydarkul (12 km). Enjoy the real nature beauty of the Lake. Drive to Bukhara (250 km). En route, visit “Rabat Malik” caravansaray and “Sardoba” water reservoir from ancient Silk Road periods and stop in Gijduvan for visiting the mausoleum of Abdulkholik Gijduvani, Ulugbek’s medresah, Vabkent Minaret (XI c.) in Vabkent. Upon arrival in Bukhara, transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 08 Bukhara
Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion program in Bukhara: Samanids’ Mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Khovuz mosque, Ark Fortress, Poi-Kalyon complex (Kalyan mosque and minaret, Miri Arab madrassa), Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrassas, Magoki Attori mosque, Trade Domes (Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Telpakifurushon and Toki-Sarrofon), Labi Khovuz complex. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Bukhara – Khiva (460 km)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Khiva through Kizil-Kum Desert (460 km, 7-8 hours driving). En route, stop near Amudarya river for photo shooting. Upon arrival in Khiva, transfer to hotel for accommodation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the domestic airport for morning flight to Urgench. Arrive in Urgench. Drive to Khiva (35 km). Full day excursion program in Khiva – “Ichan-Kala architectural ensemble” – “Museum under the open sky”: Mausoleum of Pahlavan Makhmud, Tosh-Hovli Palace (Harem), Kunya-Ark Fortress, Kalta-Minor Minaret, Medrese of Shergazi-Khan, Complex of Alla-Kuli Khan, Juma Mosque and Minaret, Karavan-Saray, Minaret and Mosque of Khodja-Islam, Tim of Alakulikhan, Medrese of Abdulla-Khan, Mausoleum of Said Alautdin, Medrese of Mukhamad Amin-Khan, Walls of Ichan-Kala, Palvan-Darvaza Gate. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 Khiva – Toprak / Ayaz Kala – Urgench (220 km) – Tashkent (by plane)
Breakfast at hotel. Check-out. Excursion to Toprak Kala (A.D I-VI c.) and Ayaz Kala (IV-II centuries BC.) ruins of bloomed “Zaroastrian Period”. Drive to “Goybu” village and visit Ulli Khovli (ancient Turkmen settlement which belongs to A.D XII c.). Transfer to Urgench airport for evening flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival in Tashent, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Departure from Tashkent
Morning transfer to the International Airport and see off. End of the tour.

Features of the tour:
This tour contains the maximum highlighted cities of Silk Road in Uzbekistan. It is a good combination of touch between ancient signs of the Great Silk Road period and modern Uzbekistan. While travelling, a tourist can notice the historical role of the Silk Road in local traditions, religions, history, people’s social life …
Best season to travel:
As the program has an overnight in Yurt in Yangikazgan, it is advisable not to travel only in winter period. Best time to travel is spring and autumn.
Level of difficulties and age limitation:
This is an average level tour and there is no age limitation as far as a person has no walking distance problems. This tour program requires commonly more active travelers who do not mind walking 5-7 km a day.
Remark:
A tourist should be psychologically ready for basic facilities of accommodations in Yurts (general toilet and shower outside + sleeping on the floor with a mattress but without a bed).
