Transport condition in tourism of Uzbekistan

The transport services in Uzbekistan have quite noticeably developed for the last 5 years. In the past, old Mercedes, Neoplan, or Setra buses and old Ssang Yong Istana or Hyundai Grace vans used to serve tourists.

Due to the favorable customs clearance policy of Uzbekistan, Uzbek tourism companies and transport companies are importing more and more buses, minibusses, and vans from South Korea, Japan, Turkey, and China. Thus, tourists do not face any vehicle problems and enjoy their trips!

Transport allocation

We suggest the following types of comfortable tourism vehicles depending on the number of travelers:

• 1-2 travelers-sedan cars: Chevrolet Lacetti or Chevrolet Cobalt
• 3-4 travelers-minivans with 9 seats: Hyundai H-1/Starex
• 5-8 travelers-vans with 11 seats: Toyota Hiace
• 9-13 travelers-minibusses with 17 seats: Toyota Coaster or Mitsubishi Rosa Fuso
• 14-23 travelers-medium size buses with 35 seats: Yutong/Zhongtong /Golden Dragon models
• 24-30 travelers-standard size buses with 43 seats: Yutong/Zhongtong /Golden Dragon/Asia Star models
• 31-42 travelers-big size coaches with 52 seats: Yutong/Zhongtong /Golden Dragon/Asia Star models

If some clients require, we can arrange luxury vehicles as well: Chevrolet Captiva (SUV), Chevrolet Malibu, KIA Sedona or Carnival for 1-2 pax and Mercedes Vito or Viano for 3-4 pax. If needed, we can arrange Mercedes W221 and W222 vehicles or even limousine.

Our transportation services

Our company offers the following range of transport services:

• Airport-Hotel or Hotel-Airport transfers in each city
• Train station-Hotel or Hotel-Train station transfers in each city
• Border-Hotel transfer in each region of Uzbekistan
• City tours in each city
• Long or short trips (for example: 3 days tour, 8 days tour, etc.)
• Private transfers from one city to another (Bukhara-Khiva, Khiva-Bukhara, Tashkent-Samarkand, Samarkand-Tashkent, Bukhara-Samarkand, Samarkand-Bukhara…)
• Luggage delivery service (sometimes travelers do not want to carry their luggage when taking trains or having short trips to neighbor countries. In this case, we arrange luggage delivery)
• Train ticket/any other document delivery service in a city or from one city to another one.
• Modern 4WD vehicles (Toyota Land Cruiser 200, 150, 100 or Toyota Hilux models) for off road tours: Trip to Aral Sea area….
• Rent a car service arrangements (with and without a driver)

Our transport policy

Our company has a policy to use maximum 3 years old vehicles with all insurances required by Uzbekistan Government. Moreover, our hired drivers are certified and quite experienced and know how to handle foreign tourists. Last but not least, our drivers do care about environment and strictly follow green policy: they dispose plastic/glass bottles properly, stop engine while photo shooting, change oil only in authorized service centers, etc.

If some travelers need an English speaking driver and if we know it much in advance, we can arrange it. Basically, all our drivers know basic English words: stop, photo, go, water, lunch, open, toilet, 5 minutes…. and we have a lot of trips going with drivers (without accompanying guides).

 

Tipping drivers in Uzbekistan

Tipping a driver is not a must but warmly welcomed. Tips serve to motivate them to work diligently. Usually, the tipping amount is 3 US dollars per person per day for a driver. If clients are happy with their services, they are welcome to give.
